Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The Foreman Electrician will supervise a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, oversee installation, alterations and repairs, and mentor the team to maintain safety and quality.

You will read blueprints, manage material lists, coordinate schedules, ensure compliance with NEC and project specs, and collaborate with supervision to meet production and budget goals.

Qualifications

• 7-10 years of electrical construction experience.
• Able to lead, mentor and coach a crew of ~5.
• Strong understanding of NEC guidelines.
• Reads and interprets blueprints and specs.
• Ability to manage safety on site.

Responsibilities

• Lead Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on site.
• Ensure work meets quality standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Develop material lists from layouts and job-site demands.
• Helps achieve production and budget goals by communicating needs to the team.
• Ensure all work complies with NEC and local codes.
• Read project specs, blueprints, and schematics.
• Lay out work from electrical drawings and project documents.
