Job summary

Amteck is seeking an Electrical Foreman for a new construction project in Atlanta, GA. The Foreman will oversee a crew of Helpers, Apprentices, and Journeyman electricians, directing installation, alterations, and repairs while mentoring staff.

Responsibilities include coordinating material lists, ensuring safety and quality, and aligning work with project specs and budgets. Strong leadership and reading of blueprints are essential.

Qualifications

• 7–10 years of electrical construction experience in commercial/industrial environments.
• Proven leadership abilities with the capability to grow as a Foreman/Lead.
• Ability to read and understand project specifications, blueprints and schematics.
• Ability to lead, mentor and coach teams of ~5 workers.
• Strong communication with other trades and supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor Journeyman, Helpers and Apprentices on the job site.
• Ensure quality of work to the highest standards.
• Develop manpower schedules for the team.
• Create material lists from layouts and communicate them to supervision.
• Assist in meeting production and budget goals and communicate needs to the team.
• Ensure work complies with local codes and NEC guidelines.
• Read and interpret project documents; lay out and install wiring and conduits.
• Demonstrate knowledge of circuitry and troubleshoot lighting/power circuits.
