Job summary

IES Commercial, Inc. – DBA IES Electrical in Richmond, VA is seeking a full-time electrical foreman to supervise commercial electrical crews, plan labor, and ensure project alignment with blueprints and specifications.

This role requires 6–10 years of relevant experience, a state electrical license preferred, OSHA 30 or ability to obtain, and the ability to pass background and MVR checks; travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6-10 years of recent commercial electrician experience.
• State Electrical License strongly preferred.
• OSHA 30 or ability to obtain.
• Pre-employment background and MVR checks.

Responsibilities

• Supervises and coordinates activities of assigned craft workers, plans labor requirements.
• Interprets specifications, blueprints, and job orders as needed for area of supervision.
• Confirms completion & documentation of project Daily/Weekly/Monthly safety activities reporting.
• Inspects quality and quantity of finished work to ensure conformance to specifications.
• Interprets company policies to workers enforcing safety regulations, and proper care for tools and equipment.
• Analyzes and resolves work problems.
• Complies with all company and customer safety policies and procedures.
• Travel may be required.
