Job summary

Rosendin Electric, Inc. is seeking a Senior Estimator to lead bid and submittal estimates for electrical construction projects in Texas. You will coordinate with estimators, suppliers, and customers to complete accurate estimates.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, at least 4 years of estimating experience, and experience with Accubid, Livecount Cloud, and Bluebeam. Relocation to multiple Texas locations is offered.

Qualifications

• Read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings.
• Estimate all types of projects and coordinate group effort.
• Identify and meet customers' needs and requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare estimate from quantity take-off for project and printout.
• Identify key parts of the project for competitive estimates.
• Review specs and drawings; attend pre-bid meetings to define scope.
• Evaluate potential value engineering cost savings.
• Provide leadership to personnel preparing sub estimates.
• Maintain working documents backing up estimate figures.
• Develop labor productivity and installation unit costs from site data.
• Prepare detailed listing of materials and equipment and obtain quotes.
• Solicit quotes from qualified suppliers/subcontractors.
