Job summary

Stantec is seeking a licensed Electrical Engineer to lead the design and engineering of water and wastewater projects in Denver. You will act as Engineer-of-Record, size and specify electrical systems, and guide a team through design, modeling, and documentation phases.

You will mentor junior staff, manage project scope and budgets, liaise with clients and contractors, and contribute to business development. A PE license and 7–8 years of experience are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering is required.
• Licensed Professional Engineer with minimum 7–8 years of experience.
• Strong knowledge of electrical systems, means and methods, and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Acts as Engineer-of-Record for projects of varying complexity.
• Evaluates, selects, and engineers electrical systems for a project.
• Develops design through sketches, models, and diagrams; creates 3D models.
• Leads project coordination meetings with teams, clients, and contractors.
• Mentors junior engineers and designers; reviews deliverables for quality.
• Develops project scope, budget, staffing, and schedule; coordinates construction documents.
• Assists with proposals for smaller projects and oversees multiple projects.
