Job summary

Stantec in the United States seeks a senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design and engineering of water and wastewater projects, serving as Engineer-of-Record and applying codes and standards. You will mentor junior staff, coordinate with clients and contractors, develop design calculations and construction packages, and manage scopes, budgets, and schedules across multiple projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering and PE licensure.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in electrical engineering for water/wastewater.
• Experience leading teams and delivering design packages.
• Ability to develop design calculations and construction documents.

Responsibilities

• Act as Engineer-of-Record for projects of varying complexity.
• Engineer electrical systems and specify components for projects.
• Lead design development through sketches, models and diagrams.
• Prepare and coordinate construction drawings, specs, and cost estimates.
• Mentor junior staff and coordinate with clients and contractors.
• Oversee field reviews and construction phase services.
