Job summary

Sargent & Lundy is seeking a senior electrical engineering leader to guide multi‑discipline teams on electrical system design for nuclear and commercial power projects. The role emphasizes detailed design, calculations, and client‑driven documentation in a hybrid work setting.

Qualified candidates will have a BSEE (MSEE preferred), ability to obtain a PE license, and a willingness to pursue DOE and Q clearance levels as required.

Qualifications

• Requires a BSEE from ABET-accredited program; MSEE preferred.
• Leads a design team and coordinates detailed design phases for electrical engineering work.
• Desires ability to obtain a PE licensure and US Government security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Act as Electrical team lead coordinating detailed design phases for electrical engineering work.
• Lead efforts to ensure projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Coordinate design activities to meet specifications, codes, and client requirements.
• Prepare and review detailed electrical calculations (arc flash, voltage drop, fault current, lighting).
• Prepare documentation for drawings and master schematics; interface with vendors for purchase specs.
• Provide mentorship and knowledge sharing within S&L Communities of Practice.
