Duke Energy in Hartsville, SC is seeking a Lead Electrical Design Engineer to join the Nuclear Fleet Corporate Design Engineering team. You will lead design changes for AC/DC power systems, protection schemes, and major electrical equipment across the site, ensuring regulatory compliance and project delivery.

The role requires extensive nuclear power plant experience, an ABET-accredited engineering degree, and PE licensure or equivalent qualifications.

Qualifications

• Minimum 8 years engineering experience in nuclear or related field.
• ABET-accredited engineering degree required; PE preferred or licensure equivalent.

Responsabilités

• Develop scope, technical basis, installation and testing for design changes.
• Provide engineering guidance for problem analysis and resolution.
• Prepare technical reports, calculations and sketches for defined problems.
• Manage projects with schedules, interfaces and changing priorities.
• Mentor junior engineers and support regulatory/compliance tasks.
