Job summary

Duke Energy is seeking a Nuclear Engineer I/II in Hartsville, SC to join the Electrical Design team. You will develop scope, technical basis, installation and testing requirements for plant modifications, and provide field support and project coordination across assignments.

Required: ABET‑accredited BS in Engineering, 0–4 years of engineering experience (nuclear preferred) and ability to obtain site access. Travel up to 15% and readiness for occasional overnight stays may be required.

Qualifications

• ABET-accredited BS in Engineering is required or strongly preferred.
• Strong engineering fundamentals and problem-solving skills are essential.
• Good written and oral communication skills are needed.
