Jacobs, a leading engineering firm, seeks a Sr. Movable Bridge Engineer to lead electrical design for rehabilitation and new movable bridge projects across the US and Canada. The role requires hands-on inspection experience, strong leadership, and collaboration with multi-disciplinary teams.

The successful candidate will be licensed US PE with 15+ years in movable bridge electrical engineering, and adept at CAD tools such as AutoCAD and MicroStation. Hybrid work arrangements apply.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering, ABET-EAC accredited preferred.
• US PE license required.
• 15+ years of movable bridge electrical engineering experience.
• Significant movable bridge electrical design and inspection background.
• Experience with CAD drawing tools (AutoCAD / MicroStation).

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on movable bridge projects.
• Drive quality and innovation in designs and analyses.
• Perform bridge inspection, condition assessment, and rehabilitation planning.
• Prepare contract drawings, specs, calculations and cost estimates.
• Develop details using CAD and coordinate with CAD technicians.
• Mentor and guide junior engineers on project teams.
• Produce technical reports, client communications and memoranda.
