Job summary

Jacobs is seeking a Sr. Movable Bridge Engineer to lead electrical design for rehabilitation and new movable bridge projects across the US and Canada. You will inspect bridges, develop rehab strategies, and mentor engineers while coordinating with project teams.

The role requires a PE license, 15+ years in movable bridge electrical engineering, and strong CAD/communication skills. Hybrid work policy applies across Jacobs offices nationwide.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering with ABET accreditation preferred.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license in the US is required.
• 15+ years of movable bridge electrical engineering experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical leadership on movable bridge projects.
• Lead design teams and ensure quality and innovation.
• Perform bridge inspections and develop rehabilitation strategies.
• Prepare drawings, specifications, calculations, reports, and cost estimates.
• Mentor young engineers and support project communication.
