Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an Automated Litigation Support Lab Manager in Chicago to lead the delivery of advanced lab data processing services for electronic discovery.

You will coordinate processing, QA, and production activities per ESI specifications, advise attorneys, and manage a team of eDiscovery professionals in a client-site lab. A strong Relativity background and leadership experience are essential.

Qualifications

• Eight+ years in eDiscovery roles including processing, conversion, data culling, QA, loads and retrieval.
• Five+ years in management/supervisory roles.
• Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process and EDRM workflow.
• Working knowledge of document review tools such as Relativity, iConect, Venio or similar.
• Bachelor’s degree required; waiver may be approved by Contracting Officer.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of lab data processing services.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and implement processing approaches for electronic files per ESI specs.
• Consult with attorneys on best practices for ESI specifications and participate in teleconferences as needed.
• Ensure productions conform to ESI specs and notify attorneys of deficiencies.
• Keep clients informed on lab activities, deadlines, challenges, and resource availability.
• Provide webhosting support for cases managed by the lab.
• Manage a team of eDiscovery professionals including scheduling, assessments, and QC of deliverables.
• Advise on all phases of the EDRM: Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, and Production.
