Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an Automated Litigation Support Lab Manager in the Finance department to lead a client-site eDiscovery lab. The role oversees delivery of data processing services, adherence to ESI specifications, and coordination with attorneys and support staff to ensure timely, accurate work.

Ideal candidates will have extensive Relativity experience, a strong supervisory background, and a CS-related undergraduate degree.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of experience in eDiscovery roles including electronic files processing, image/data file conversion, data culling using review tools, QA, database loads and retrieval, and data analysis.
• At least five years in a management/supervisory role.
• Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process and the EDRM workflow.
• Working knowledge of Relativity, iConect, Venio or similar tools; Relativity certifications preferred.
• Undergraduate degree in computer science or related field; waiver possible only by contracting officer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the delivery of lab data processing services and ensure timely, accurate completion of tasks.
• Advise attorneys and support staff on ESI specifications and participate in teleconferences with counsel as needed.
• Ensure productions conform to ESI specifications and provide detailed notices of deficiencies to case attorneys.
• Keep clients informed on lab activities, deadlines, and resource availability.
• Manage a client-site eDiscovery laboratory team, including scheduling, assignments, progress reporting, and QC of deliverables.
• Provide guidance on EDMS lifecycle phases: Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, and Production.
