Job summary

CGS Federal is seeking an Automated Litigation Support Lab Manager in the Finance department. The role oversees a client-site eDiscovery laboratory, ensuring lab data processing services align with ESI specifications and that productions are delivered defect-free.

Ideal candidates bring extensive Relativity experience, RCA or Analytics certifications, and 8+ years in eDiscovery with 5+ years in management. A CS-related undergrad degree is preferred, with broad tool familiarity including iConect

Qualifications

• Extensive Relativity experience required.
• Relativity certifications including RCA and/or Relativity Analytics Specialist strongly preferred.
• At least eight years of experience performing eDiscovery roles including processing, conversion, data culling, QA, loads and retrieval, and data analysis.
• At least five years of experience at the management/supervisory level.
• Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process and the EDRM workflow.
• Working knowledge of document review software such as iConect, Relativity, Venio or similar tools.
• Undergraduate degree required, preferably in computer science or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead manager responsible for delivery of lab data processing services.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks; develop and implement processing approaches for electronic files per ESI specifications.
• Consult with attorneys and support staff on best practices for conforming to ESI specifications and participate in teleconferences as needed.
• Ensure incoming productions adhere to ESI specifications and provide detailed notice of deficiencies to the case attorney.
• Keep the client informed on activities in the Lab, including deadlines, technical challenges, and resource availability.
• Provide webhosting support for unsupported cases managed by the lab.
• Manage a team of eDiscovery professionals, including scheduling, assessing requirements, assigning work, and QC of deliverables.
• Advise on all phases of the EDRM model: Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, Production.
