Job summary

CGS Federal seeks an Automated Litigation Support Lab Manager to lead the lab data processing services and coordinate eDiscovery activities. You will ensure that productions meet ESI specifications while providing detailed notices of deficiencies to case attorneys.

You will oversee a team of eDiscovery professionals, supervise workflow, QC deliverables, and advise on all EDRM phases from data collection to production. A strong Relativity and litigation support background is essential.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in eDiscovery roles including electronic files processing, data conversion, data culling, QA, loads, retrieval, and review.
• Five years of management/supervisory experience.
• Thorough knowledge of the litigation discovery process and the EDRM workflow.
• Working knowledge and certifications of document review software such as iConect, Relativity, Venio or similar tools.
• Undergraduate degree required; waiver only with contracting officer approval.

Responsibilities

• Lead the lab data processing services delivery.
• Ensure timely and accurate completion of tasks and develop processing approaches for electronic files per ESI specs.
• Consult with attorneys on best practices for conforming to ESI specs and participate in meetings with clients and opposing counsel as needed.
• Ensure incoming productions comply with ESI specs and notify attorneys of deficiencies.
• Keep clients informed on Lab activities, deadlines, challenges, and resource availability.
• Provide webhosting support for cases managed by the lab.
• Manage a team of eDiscovery professionals including scheduling, assessments, assignments, progress reporting, and QC of deliverables.
• Advise on all phases of the EDRM: Data Collection, Processing, Hosting, Review, Analytics, Production.
