Job summary

Consor is seeking an Engineering Designer to lead portions of transportation drainage design projects and provide advanced technical support in stormwater management and conveyance systems in Texas. You will mentor junior designers and collaborate with project engineers to deliver accurate, constructible drainage solutions.

Responsibilities include detailed drainage design plans, hydraulic calculations, and coordinating activities across teams, with a focus on quality and client requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation drainage design experience.
• Experience with MicroStation & OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed drainage design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects, including stormwater management and conveyance systems.
• Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate drainage design activities among multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Assist project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and drainage-related design deliverables.
