Job summary

Consor in Texas is seeking an Engineering Designer to lead portions of transportation drainage design projects, applying engineering judgment and mentoring junior designers while collaborating with project engineers and managers to deliver accurate, efficient, and constructible drainage solutions. You will prepare drainage design plans, perform hydraulic calculations, coordinate across teams, and contribute to quality control and schedule tracking.

This role requires a B.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering.
• 2+ years of Texas transportation drainage design experience.
• Experience with MicroStation & OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed drainage design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for transportation projects, including stormwater management and conveyance systems.
• Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic calculations and ensure compliance with applicable standards, regulations, and client requirements.
• Coordinate drainage design activities among multidisciplinary teams and provide technical guidance to junior staff.
• Assist project engineers and managers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and drainage-related design deliverables.
