Job summary

Consor is seeking an Engineering Designer to lead portions of complex transportation drainage design projects, providing advanced technical support in stormwater management, hydraulic analysis, and conveyance systems.

You will mentor junior designers, collaborate with project engineers and managers, and help ensure delivery of accurate, efficient, and constructible drainage solutions across transportation projects.

Qualifications

• BS in Civil Engineering is required.
• Minimum 2+ years of Texas transportation drainage design experience.
• EIT certification required.
• Experience with MicroStation and OpenRoads Designer.

Responsibilities

• Lead the preparation of detailed drainage design plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
• Perform advanced hydraulic and hydrologic calculations.
• Coordinate drainage design activities among multidisciplinary teams.
• Assist project engineers with quality control reviews, schedule tracking, and drainage-related design deliverables.
