Humanity Plus Homes is seeking a Direct Support Manager in Connecticut to coordinate operations of our Residential and Day Services programs. You will lead a dedicated team, ensure compliant living environments, and provide on-call guidance for emergencies.

We value leaders who coach, teach, and connect with people to build trusting relationships and solve problems creatively. Experience in developmental disabilities is preferred and CPR/First Aid certification is required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in psychology, special education, or related field is required or equivalent experience.
• Minimum of three years of related work experience, with at least one year in a supervisory/manager role.
• CPR and First Aid certification required; DDS Medication Certification Card for CT or ability to obtain; valid driver's license, vehicle registration, and current insurance.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate and direct operations of Residential and/or Day Services Program, including scheduling staff and implementing program plans.
• Provide training to team members to interact with individuals served in a supportive, therapeutic manner.
• Oversee upkeep of residential facility and vehicles to meet regulatory and accreditation standards.
• Provide guidance and assist during emergency situations on a on-call basis.
• Manage petty cash and purchasing of groceries and supplies; maintain medical, social and programmatic files with accurate documentation.
