Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum of three years of experience supporting individuals with developmental disabilities, intellectual disabilities, or mental health needs.
• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• Valid CT driver’s license for at least three years.
• Personal vehicle with state-required insurance.
• Strong communication, leadership, and organizational skills.
• Ability to pass required background screenings and drug testing.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and support Direct Support Professionals and Lead Direct Support Professionals.
• Oversee daily operations of assigned residential homes, ensuring a safe, healthy, home-like environment.
• Manage staffing schedules, coverage, hiring, onboarding, coaching, and performance development.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, licensing standards, and state and federal regulations.
• Support individuals with daily living activities and community integration.
• Coordinate medical appointments, medication oversight, and health-related services.
• Review and maintain documentation, including progress notes, incident reports, and plans.
• Conduct medication audits, weekly counts, and ensure proper administration; manage budgets and maintenance.
• Facilitate team meetings and collaborate with families, guardians, healthcare providers, and community partners.
