Job summary

RTX is seeking an Electrical Subsystems Digital Principal Engineer in Tucson, AZ. The role involves leading digital design activities for development guidance systems, interfacing with RF, navigation, data link, and power systems, and coordinating with customers and suppliers. Travel ~25% may be required.

Ideal candidates have a DoD Secret clearance, a STEM degree, and extensive experience in digital and mixed-signal electronics, subsystem architecture, and CAM responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Eight years of experience in Analog, digital, and power electronics design, integration, and production support.
• Decomposition of high-level requirements into actionable design electronics and subsystem architecture.
• Experience in Digital sub-systems, systems engineering, requirement development, and CCA design.

Responsibilities

• Lead or Support Digital Design Efforts for development guidance systems.
• Assist with component-level design and test reviews.
• Collaborate with program management and customers across lifecycle phases.
• Mentor and collaborate within a team; travel up to ~25% may be required.
• Perform architecture design, requirements development, and test planning for subsystems.
