Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Dietary Supervisor to ensure meals are prepared according to dietician-approved menus and federal and state regulations. You will cook for 30+ residents and plan menus with a dietician, considering seasonal and local foods while incorporating residents' preferences.

You will supervise cooks and aides, handle ordering and records, and maintain employee schedules. You will participate in care plans to meet residents' dietary needs and ensure safety and infection

Qualifications

• Must be able to cook for an average of 30 or more residents.
• Plans menus in consultation with a dietician.
• Supervises cooks and dietary aides; may serve meals and order supplies.

Responsibilities

• Comply with personnel, safety, and corporate policies.
• Report resident abuse/neglect immediately to the Executive Director.
• Ensure meals are prepared per approved menus and regulations.
• Maintain records, budgets, and scheduling for the dietary staff.
• Participate in care plan meetings and assess residents' dietary needs.
• Ensure infection control and safety procedures are followed.
