Job summary

Midwest Health, Inc. is seeking a Culinary Services Director to oversee FOH and BOH dining operations, including restaurant-style dining, pub, coffee shop, and catered events. You will manage daily food production, kitchen staff, and service teams across dining facilities and specialty outlets.

You will coach and lead dietary staff, plan menus, and ensure sanitation, safety, and compliance with health regulations while delivering high-quality meals and exceptional resident experiences.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or 5–6 years related experience and training, or equivalent.
• Post-secondary culinary certificate preferred.
• Able to work beyond normal hours, weekends and holidays.
• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Operates main kitchen, dining rooms, pub, and ancillary services.
• Ensures daily food quality meets criteria for taste and presentation.
• Coaches and leads dietary staff to maintain high standards.
• Maintains sanitation and safety across kitchen and dining areas.
• Plans and executes menus and special events.
• Oversees food deliveries and storage for quality and safety.
• Recruits, interviews, and trains all staff members.
• Ensures compliance with state and federal regulations.
