Job summary

FleetPride is hiring a Technician III to perform preventative maintenance, advanced diagnostics, and major component work on heavy-duty trucks and trailers. You will also train junior technicians and ensure quality before customer handoff.

The role requires a Diesel Technology associate degree and experience with class 7 & 8 trucks, oil changes, brakes, and engine overhauls. Expect a non-climate controlled shop and location-based pay.

Qualifications

• Diesel technology degree required or equivalent training.
• Strong diagnostic and welding-related skills.
• Ability to train technicians and maintain safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Examine vehicles to determine extent of damage or malfunction.
• Train new service shop employees on company procedures.
• Inspect orders for completion and quality before delivery to customers.
• Perform routine and preventive maintenance on vehicles and equipment.
• Troubleshoot and repair diesel and gasoline engines.
• Maintain a clean and organized workspace.
