Job summary

Purdue University in West Lafayette, IN is seeking a Desktop Support Specialist, Lead to coordinate and provide technical support to faculty and staff. The role requires an associate degree and 2 years of IT desktop support, plus strong Windows/Mac, networking, AD, and SCCM knowledge.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Computer Science, Computer Technology OR a related field of study.
• Two (2) years of IT desktop support or related IT experience.
• In lieu of degree, consideration will be given to an equivalent combination of related education and required experience (associate’s degree + 4 years of experience; HS/HSE+ 6 years of experience)

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and provide technical support for faculty and staff.
• Install, upgrade, and support hardware, software, and peripherals.
• Collaborate with IT staff to deliver services to faculty and staff.
• Assist with end-user training and issue resolution.
