Job summary
Eaton is seeking a Lead Data Center Controls Engineer – Power Systems to drive design, development, testing, and implementation of power protection and control solutions for hyperscale data centers. You will lead project execution, coordinate with managers and engineers, and ensure rigorous documentation and design standards across PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and relays.
Preferred candidates hold a Master’s in Electrical Engineering or PE license, with 7+ years of controls experience in power
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of controls experience in power distribution or a Master's with 5+ years experience
- Willingness to travel up to 30% of time
- Driver's license and background check as per policy
Responsibilities
- Lead data center power control projects from design to testing and site acceptance
- Coordinate with Project Managers and engineering teams for schedules and design documents
- Provide technical leadership and ensure documentation quality
- Support proposals and resource readiness with cross-functional teams
- Mentor junior engineers and drive standardization and best practices
