Job summary
Eaton is seeking a Lead Data Center Controls Engineer – Power Systems to join our Electrical Engineering Services & Systems (EESS) division. You will lead design, development, testing, and implementation of power systems protection and control solutions for hyperscale data centers using PLCs, RTUs, HMIs, and relays.
Anticipated travel is 30%. The role offers a competitive salary range and a company vehicle, with paid overtime and comprehensive benefits.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering with 7+ years of controls experience in power distribution or a Master's with 5 years.
- Ability to travel up to 30% and drive as required by policy.
- PE license preferred.
Responsibilities
- Lead the execution of data center power control projects from design to testing and support.
- Plan projects with PMs and engineering teams, develop schedules and IO lists.
- Provide leadership, ensure documentation quality, and maintain project records.
- Collaborate on proposals, training, and resource readiness with stakeholders.
