Empower LLC is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to architect and optimize scalable data pipelines in a remote, nationwide setting. You will personally develop SQL, Python, and ETL code while guiding complex initiatives and ensuring governance and security across platforms.

You will mentor engineers, perform code reviews, and collaborate with architects to align solutions with enterprise direction in a dynamic data environment.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 6–8+ years of data engineering experience with enterprise scale platforms.
• Advanced proficiency in SQL and Python.
• Hands-on AWS and Snowflake experience.
• Experience leading technical initiatives and mentoring engineers.
• SAS Viya experience preferred; strong SQL/ETL background accepted.

• Lead the design and implementation of advanced data pipelines and ingestion frameworks.
• Mentor engineers and guide technical decision-making across teams.
• Troubleshoot SAS Viya and SQL-based production workflows and improve monitoring.
