Job summary

ebbo seeks a Senior Data Engineer to design, build, and scale data pipelines within a Snowflake-based platform. You will integrate AWS DMS, S3, and Lambda sources, ensuring secure, governed data delivery for analytics across the organization.

This role emphasizes production-grade SQL, Airflow orchestration, Terraform-managed infrastructure, and end-to-end ownership of data solutions in a remote, fast-growing environment.

Qualifications

• Deep, hands-on expertise in Snowflake, including Snowpipe, Streams, Tasks, and Snowpark (Python).
• Strong SQL skills with ability to write and optimize production-grade transformations.
• Working knowledge of AWS data services: S3, Lambda, DMS, Secrets Manager, and KMS.
• Experience orchestrating data workflows with Apache Airflow (DAG design, scheduling, monitoring/alerting).
• Infrastructure as Code experience, ideally Terraform, for provisioning cloud resources.
• Data security and privacy practices including encryption and access control design.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills across distributed data pipelines.
• Experience owning end-to-end development of data engineering solutions in AWS.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable data pipelines and ETL/ELT processes within Snowflake.
• Build data ingestion pipelines using AWS DMS, S3, and Lambda.
• Ingest data from external sources including client SFTP, REST APIs, and vendor feeds.
• Orchestrate and monitor workflows with Apache Airflow.
• Manage infrastructure as code using Terraform for CI/CD deployments.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate business requirements into data solutions.
• Apply data security practices including encryption and tokenization.
• Troubleshoot and resolve production data pipeline issues.
