Job summary

Massive Rocket Limited is seeking a Lead Data Engineer to design and deliver scalable data solutions for our clients. You’ll lead data pipelines, data models, and enable analytics, CRM, and business decisions with Snowflake, SQL, Python, and dbt.

You’ll work closely with Data, CRM, and CDP teams, applying best practices, exploring AI tools, and guiding engineers to improve data workflows across multiple client engagements.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in data engineering or similar roles with ownership of architecture and delivery.
• Strong SQL, data modelling, and ETL/ELT design experience.
• Proficient Python for data applications and transformations.
• Hands-on with Snowflake and dbt; familiarity with cloud data stacks.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable ETL/ELT pipelines for batch and real-time data.
• Develop data models, transformations, and workflows using SQL, Python, and dbt.
• Create integrations across cloud data platforms and external sources.
• Improve performance, reliability, and cost efficiency of data systems.
• Implement data quality checks and validation processes.
• Translate client data needs into actionable data models and pipelines.
• Support identity resolution, events, and customer engagement data flows.
• Collaborate with Data, Analytics, CRM, and CDP teams to meet client goals.
• Provide technical leadership and promote best practices.
• Explore AI tools and automation to boost productivity.
• Manage multiple client engagements and adapt to priorities.
