Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Data Center Electrical Engineer to join our Building Engineering Services team in Denver, CO. You will lead electrical design for data center and mission-critical facilities, coordinating with clients, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to deliver robust, efficient systems.

You will develop feasibility studies, construction documents, and specifications, perform QA/QC, and support construction activities. A PE license and 10+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical or Architectural Eng with Electrical emphasis.
• PE license required or recognized for licensure.
• 10+ years electrical design experience for buildings.
• Strong knowledge of building electrical power, lighting and life safety.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and Microsoft Office; SKM/CYMCAP familiarity a plus.
• Excellent communication and leadership for multi-disciplinary teams.

Responsibilities

• Lead electrical design on data center/mission-critical projects.
• Coordinate with clients, PMs, architects, and engineers across disciplines.
• Develop feasibility studies, construction documents, specifications.
• Perform QA/QC reviews and RFI support; lead design meetings.
• Mentor junior staff and manage project workflow and schedules.
