Job summary

HDR, a leading engineering firm, is seeking a Data Center Electrical Engineer to join the Building Engineering Services team in Denver, CO. You’ll design electrical systems for mission-critical facilities, mentor junior engineers, and coordinate with clients, architects, and other disciplines to deliver robust construction documents.

The role requires a PE license, a degree in Electrical or Architectural Engineering, and proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Architectural Engineering with an Electrical emphasis.
• PE or P.Eng license recognized by the local licensing board.
• Experience in electrical design of buildings (lighting/power/systems).
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Revit, SKM, AGI and Easy Power.

Responsibilities

• Design electrical systems for data centers and mission-critical projects.
• Coordinate with clients, project managers, electricians, architects and other disciplines.
• Develop feasibility reports, construction documents, specifications and engineering calculations.
• Assist with RFIs, shop drawings, site investigations and construction administration.

Education
