Job summary

Truckee Meadows Community College (TMCC) is seeking a Custodial Worker 2 in the Facilities Department to perform building cleaning, garbage removal and floor care. Snow removal may be required and the role is designated as essential personnel during emergencies.

Minimum qualifications include a high school diploma and custodial experience; a valid Nevada driver’s license is required. Employment may involve pre-employment screening and irregular hours per campus needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; 1 year custodial experience in commercial/industrial settings
• 6 months general work experience plus 1 year custodial experience
• 6 months as Custodial Worker I in Nevada State service
• Equivalent combination of education and experience

Responsibilities

• Perform general cleaning duties in buildings; empty trash and mop floors
• Shampoo and buff floors; snow removal as needed
• Follow safety protocols and work as essential personnel during emergencies
