Job summary

Washoe County School District is seeking a Utility Crew Custodian 2 to perform specialized custodial duties under supervision across district facilities. Responsibilities include responding to emergency clean-ups, training staff in health cleaning processes, maintaining records, and assisting with maintenance tasks.

Shifts may vary to meet district needs, including mornings and evenings. Requirements include minimal education with 1–2 years custodial experience or equivalent maintenance

Qualifications

• Education: High School Diploma is desirable but not required.
• Experience: One to two years of custodial experience demonstrating reliability and good work habits, or equivalent maintenance training and experience.

Responsibilities

• Performs specialized custodial duties under general supervision.
• Responds to emergency clean-ups and hazardous material incidents.
• Trains, evaluates, and retrains custodians in Process Cleaning for Health.
• Maintains operational and training records; inventories and maintains supplies and equipment.
• Moves and assembles furniture; sets up rooms and events; performs minor maintenance and painting.
