Job summary

Qualifications

• Minimum 8+ years of relevant industry experience with a Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering or Computer Science
• Or 6+ years with a Master's degree in a related field
• Hands-on silicon lab experience including platform bring-up and instrumentation
• Experience collecting and analyzing silicon power and performance metrics (IPC, Frequency, Cdyn, leakage)
• Proficiency in scripting languages (Python, Bash) for test automation and data analysis

Responsibilities

• Own and operate lab infrastructure for silicon characterization, including bring-up, maintenance, and debug of pre-production and production platforms
• Plan and execute measurements across performance, IPC, power, dynamic capacitance, leakage, and telemetry
• Design and execute structured measurement campaigns under varying operating conditions and thermal/power envelopes
• Analyze silicon data to identify power/performance gaps and opportunities relative to roadmap targets
• Collaborate with architecture, benchmarking, backend design, and simulation teams to correlate results with models
• Develop tooling and automation to streamline data collection, processing, and reporting
• Communicate findings through technical reports and presentations to engineering leadership
