Job summary

Saicon in Austin, TX seeks an experienced engineer to lead post-silicon lab activities for performance and power characterization, optimization and validation of pre-production CPU/GPU products. You will set up tests, execute plans and support lab debugging.

Candidates should have 10+ years in related labs, strong knowledge of PC system architecture, operating systems, drivers, ACPI and BIOS, with excellent analytical and communication skills.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electronics/Computer Engineering or Computer Science.
• 10+ years of relevant work experience.
• Good understanding of PC system architecture, operating systems, drivers, ACPI and BIOS.
• Performance/Power/Thermal lab work experience is an asset.
• Strong analytical/problem solving skills and pronounced attention to detail.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Responsible for post-silicon lab activities related to performance and power characterization, optimization and validation of pre-production CPU/GPU products.
