Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. is seeking a Lead Counsel to join the ICE Mortgage Technology team in Jacksonville, FL, or other locations. This role reports to the Sr. Director - Associate General Counsel and involves negotiating SaaS agreements and advising GTMs.

The ideal candidate holds a U.S. law degree, has 4+ years of experience in tech-focused contracting, and can lead complex negotiations with customers and platform partners while addressing privacy and data security concerns.

Qualifications

• J.D. from an accredited U.S. law school and in good standing
• 4+ years of law firm and/or in-house experience, preferably counseling a technology company
• Experience with enterprise SaaS contracting is highly preferred
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills
• Ability to lead diverse teams through complex negotiations and manage deliverables

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and close commercial agreements, focusing on enterprise SaaS contracts
• Understand the company’s solutions to ensure contract alignment with products
• Provide strategic legal and business guidance to internal go-to-market stakeholders
• Collaborate with other legal team members on platform partner contracts and disputes
