Job summary

Intercontinental Exchange, Inc. seeks a Lead Counsel for its ICE Mortgage Technology unit to negotiate and close enterprise SaaS agreements, aligning contracts with product solutions.

You will be part of a small legal team reporting to the Senior Director of the Associate General Counsel and serve as a strategic partner to go-to-market stakeholders. Location options include Jacksonville, FL (preferred); Provo, UT; or Atlanta, GA with relocation assistance for qualified candidates.

Qualifications

• Law degree from an accredited U.S. law school and member in good standing in applicable state bar association.
• 4+ years law firm and/or in-house experience, preferably counseling a technology company (SaaS commercial contracting).
• Prior in-house experience with enterprise SaaS commercial contracting highly preferred.
• Excellent drafting, negotiation, organizational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead diverse teams through complex negotiations of enterprise sales deals, keeping all tasks organized and stakeholders clearly informed of deliverables and timelines.
• Comfort with topics such as revenue recognition, data privacy, and information security in customer contracts.

Responsibilities

• Draft, negotiate, and close a variety of commercial agreements, with a focus on enterprise SaaS agreements with the company’s customers.
• Gain a detailed understanding of the company’s solutions to ensure alignment with contracts.
• Act as a strategic partner and advisor, providing thoughtful and prompt legal and business guidance to all internal go-to-market stakeholders.
• Work collaboratively with other members of the legal team to address additional needs of the company, including contracting with the company’s platform partners and managing informal commercial disputes.
