Job summary

Turner & Townsend is seeking an experienced Associate Director - Cost Management/Quantity Surveyor to lead the delivery of cost management on complex, high-profile projects. This role requires strong leadership, client-facing communication, and a strategic approach across the project lifecycle.

You will mentor teams, coordinate with stakeholders and consultants, drive best-practice cost control, and ensure delivery excellence in cost management and project controls for diverse sectors.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, cost management, quantity surveying, or related field.
• Graduate degree in quantity surveying, cost management, construction management, or engineering is preferred.
• Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in cost management.
• Construction consultancy experience strongly preferred.
• SME in Quantity Surveying; RICS certification or equivalent accreditation.
• Demonstrates excellent presentation, verbal, written, organizational, and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the cost management team to deliver on all accountabilities.
• Interface with the client, stakeholders and other consultants at all project stages.
• Maintain excellent communication with client and consultants throughout projects.
• Perform quantity surveying, cost controls and change management across the project lifecycle.
• Coordinate reporting on overall commercial status of a project and manage procurement strategy.
