Job summary

The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a full-time Food Service Manager to oversee meal production, inventory, and safety compliance for inmate meals.

You will collaborate with the Food Services Manager to ensure accurate documentation and quality service across all meals. Minimum requirements include a high school diploma (college credits preferred), 1 year of quantity food production management experience in institutional settings, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent; college credits or technical training preferred but not mandatory.
• Must demonstrate use and understanding of the facility's recipes, policies, and procedures.
• One-year prior experience in successfully managing and/or quantity food production in commercial, military, or institutional settings.
• Must possess a valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Prepare production/service and preparation/inventory documents before each meal.
• Oversee records such as service plan, tray assessments, restricted diets, daily sanitation, and meal delivery.
• Carry out the orientation and training program for inmate workers.
• Ensure safety compliance and monitor equipment maintenance.
