The GEO Group, Inc. is seeking a Food Service Supervisor to oversee dining operations in a correctional facility, ensuring safe, compliant meals and efficient service.

You will supervise detainee staff, enforce sanitation and portion controls, review daily menus, and manage food and supply orders. A high school diploma and 3 years of management in food service are required; warehousing experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum of three years managing a food service operation in a facility.
• One year warehousing experience preferred.
• Strong communication and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities

• Review daily menus and order food and supplies.
• Supervise activities and ensure quality of finished product.
• Ensure serving line operates efficiently and meets safety standards.
• Decide what to discard and manage leftovers.
• Train detainee staff and inspect performance.
• Enforce sanitation, safety, and portion controls.
