Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Food handler card or ServSafe certification within 30 days of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of related kitchen/food service experience.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable 3-year driving record.
• Must be able to read, write and speak English.

Responsibilities

• Performs all main line food production duties with shift-specific items.
• Reviews daily needs with supervisors, completes production sheets, reviews maintenance reports, and verifies supply needs.
• Assists with menu and recipe development.
• Ensures quantity, quality and sanitation in production areas.
• May supervise and train kitchen staff.
• Arranges for helpers to complete smaller prep items.
• Oversees serving lines, areas, bars to ensure stock, setup and cleanliness.
• Fills in for other food service positions when needed.
• Observes proper rotation for produce and dairy products.
• Maintains equipment and storage areas per sanitation and safety procedures.
• Other duties as assigned.
