Job summary

Landis-Homes-Retirement-Community is seeking a Cook Supervisor to oversee quality, safety, and service in the dining operation. Shifts run 5:00 AM–1:30 PM, 7:30 AM–4:00 PM, or 11:30 AM–8:00 PM, with every other weekend and holiday requirements.

Responsibilities include directing staff, cooking made‑to‑order and bulk items, and supporting menu development. A ServSafe certification or active pursuit is required, with at least 2 years of quantity cooking experience and a short measurement test for

Qualifications

• At least 18 years of age and eligible to work in the United States.
• ServSafe Certified or actively pursuing certification within 9 months of hire.
• Minimum 2 years of quantity food production cooking experience.
• Must pass a written measurement test for portioning and recipe adjustments.

Responsibilities

• Oversees food quality, presentation, storage safety, and kitchen cleanliness.
• Supervises staff and assists in special event meals and catering.
• Prepares dinner entrees, vegetables, starches, desserts, and menu items.
• Manages cash flow consistent with the POS system and coordinates with team.
