Garden Spot Village is seeking a Cook Supervisor to oversee dining services, assist with menus, train staff, and ensure high-quality meals for residents. The role involves lead-cook duties, inventory, food ordering, and maintaining HACCP standards under the supervision of the Dining Services team.

Formación

• Experience in high-volume cooking and food preparation.
• Ability to work weekends and holidays.
• Willingness to train and participate in staff development.
• Strong communication with residents, staff and management.

Responsabilidades

• Complies with established policies and procedures and maintains the Compliance Program/Code of Conduct.
• Follows Residents’ Rights policies at all times.
• Takes information about residents and families as confidential.
• Prepares, seasons, cooks, and serves soups, meats, vegetables, and desserts per recipes.
• Assists with the supervision of Dining Services staff.
• Prepares bakery items, inventories, and supplies meals according to customer needs or dietary restrictions.
• Leads as cook by guiding, training, and assigning tasks.
• Under minimal supervision, performs advanced cooking duties.
• Assists in food ordering according to menu needs.
• Prepares food per seasonal menu and maintains standards.
• Reads orders and prepares according to instructions.
• Maintains HACCP and sanitary standards.
