Job summary

Summit in Plattsmouth, NE, is seeking an experienced cook supervisor for the Cass County Jail kitchen. This part-time, onsite role requires coordinating and supervising staff to ensure meals are prepared safely, on time, and to high quality through scratch cooking.

You will train employees, enforce sanitation standards, and uphold strong customer service in a fast-paced environment, with a focus on teamwork and compliance.

Qualifications

• At least one year of culinary experience in a high-volume establishment with scratch cooking.
• Knowledge of proper culinary methods, techniques and standards.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to perform multiple tasks.
• Ability to supervise a team and provide friendly customer service.
• Experience supervising a team.

Responsibilities

• Instructing and training employees in all aspects of food service and sanitation, ensuring meals begin on time and meet quality standards.
