Job summary

L'Auberge De Sedona Resorts and Spa is seeking a Cook II under Evolution Hospitality to lead and supervise kitchen operations across outlets, including restaurant, cafe, and room service. You will ensure high-quality dishes, manage staff, and maintain dining excellence in a luxury Sedona setting.

The ideal candidate has supervisory experience, a culinary degree or hotel kitchen background, and the ability to perform under pressure while delivering exceptional guest experiences.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory responsibility preferred.
• At least 5 years of progressive experience, or a culinary graduate with at least 1 year of experience in a hotel or related field.
• Food Handlers Certification required. (must comply with State requirements)
• Able to work effectively under pressure, maintaining composure while evaluating situations and choosing the best course of action
• A strong communicator who listens actively to understand concerns from coworkers and guests.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and supervise food items with precision, ensuring quality, portions, and presentation.
• Lead and assist kitchen staff to maintain efficient operations and high-quality food and service.
• Anticipate challenges and resolve issues to keep kitchen operations running smoothly.

• Keep the kitchen spotless and well-organized, meeting sanitation and safety standards.
• Take initiative by anticipating needs and acting to keep service seamless.
