Job summary

Qualifications

• Reading, writing, and communicating in English and Spanish are required.
• 2 years of culinary training desired.
• 4 years of experience in high-volume food production as a cook.
• Experience in catering, menu planning, food preparation and service.
• Basic computer skills desired.
• Ability to travel as needed for the position.
• Commitment to compliance with policies and Code of Conduct.

Responsibilities

• Supervises other cooks and ensures proper techniques and procedures are followed daily.
• Prepares and serves baked, roasted, grilled, steamed foods.
• Assists with tray line assembly and kitchen cleanliness.
• Maintains clean work areas and safe lifting practices.
• Plans ahead by prepping and setting up for the next day.
• Communicates pertinent information effectively with Supervisors/Managers.
