Job summary

Sodexo in Cedar Rapids is seeking a Lead Cook to join our on-site team at BAE Systems. You’ll work full-time, with open availability across any shift, preparing and presenting hot and cold dishes while keeping customer service at the heart of every interaction.

You should have 3–4 years of related kitchen experience, be a team player, adaptable, reliable, and able to read basic recipes. The role includes duties across breakfast, lunch, and dinner and may involve a grill station or a la carte

Qualifications

• Able to read and follow basic recipes.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold items for Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special Events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and directions for preparation.
• May operate a grill station or serve customers in an a la carte setting.
• Support management in daily oversight during normal operations.
