Job summary

Findlay City School District in Findlay, OH is seeking a Lead Cook for Sodexo to prepare nutritious meals with a focus on customer service and food safety. This part-time role involves varying shifts and open availability, with duties including preparation, cooking, and portioning for breakfast, lunch, and special events.

You will work as part of a team, ensuring quality and consistency while supporting the cafeteria program on-site and contributing to a positive dining experience for students

Qualifications

• 3-4 years of related work experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Accurately and efficiently prepare, portion, cook, and present a variety of hot and/or cold food items for various meal periods, may include Breakfast, Lunch, Dinner, and Special/Catered Events.
• Read and follow basic recipes and/or product directions for preparing various food items
• May prepare food and serve customers at an a la carte and/or operate a grill station
• May support management in the daily oversight of key functions and employees during the normal course of business
• Attends work and shows for scheduled shift on time with satisfactory regularity
