Job summary

Four Winds Casinos seeks an experienced Cook to master all culinary stations in the assigned venue and monitor food preparation during the shift to ensure kitchen efficiency. The role requires adherence to recipes and health regulations while maintaining clean, well-stored work areas.

The candidate will assist in quality checks, support special guest requests, and act as expediter when the Sous-Chef is unavailable, with grooming standards and professional presentation emphasized.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
• Culinary degree or formal apprenticeship preferred.
• Two to three years related experience.
• Strong organizational and interpersonal skills required.
• This position requires a Level 4 Gaming License.

Responsibilities

• Prepares, seasons, finishes, and garnishes all food in kitchen preparation in accordance with established recipes.
• Assists, in the absence of the Sous Chef, in checking for quality and consistency.
• Inspects all refrigeration and dry storage for proper handling and rotation.
• Ensures that stations are clean and that all food items are properly covered and stored at the end of shift.
• Follows all recipes, specs, and control procedures.
• Maintains a clean and sanitary area at all times in full accordance with health regulations.
• Maintains professional grooming and appearance and acts as a role model according to established grooming and appearance policy.
• Assists guests with special requests.
• Serves as expediter in absence of Sous-Chef.
